You Lost 40 Pounds Eating What?
Forgive me but I am not a Vegan. I eat what I want, when I want. That’s right…I lost 40 pounds eating what I wanted to;
I lost fifty since winter but, the first ten I will admit were before I joined the new 7 minute workout system.
Maybe indicative of my willingness to do whatever it took, I mostly starved myself to lose those first ten pounds. As could be expected, the weight bounced back; about 7 or 8 pounds (in a day after I ate again). And I gave up on trying to lose weight again.
A few weeks later I fasted that weight back off and found (or rather they found me) the 7 Minute Workout. This time I was fasting for mental clarity and Wisdom; with losing weight just an after thought. Fasting is crumby for permanent weight loss and your health, but great for Wisdom. I’d say it’s because many of us don’t really eat to live life; but rather eat to fill “other unmet Needs” that we find ourselves over eating regularly. And when you don’t “Feed” the “addictive” side of you, it slowly recedes into the background allowing the higher brain functions to operate with less pressure from the lower instincts/drives. Yet not having nutrients hurts brain function so you can’t go too long on a fast.
So, An Email arrived at my inbox: Joel Therien was inviting me to be a Beta Tester of a New Fitness Program he was creating, the “7minuteworkout“. Along with about 500 or so others I did join; having enough cash in the bank to cover the Starting Fee (now $149 but it looks like Joel is thinking of a new entrance price point for the business side of 7mw).
I signed up. Watched the videos, listened to the webinars, did the workouts, ate the Fiber supplement, and , and well…It started working…Fast!
I mean really fast! And I wasn’t starving myself. I wasn’t in the gym for hours or running around and around the track.
In those 7 Minutes magic was happening. I built muscle. The muscle burns calories even at rest!! The Muscle burned away the fat!
Combine the workout magic with the Fiber: I take a tablespoon of Psyllium Husk Fiber (Konsyl is suggested) about an hour before lunch and dinner (the big meals) and I eat less. I want less. There is more “going on” with the fiber than most people understand. Our ancestors ate way way more fiber than our 2011 normal diet contains. And our bodies need it.
